Gunther

Yesterday i caught a performance by Claire Yeo at the Juilliard School in New York. Prodigious. As i listened to her play and watched her tiny fingers dance across the 150,000 dollar piano, i thought to myself "I've just realised that i've wasted 21 years of my life. I'll bet however that its not easy being labelled a prodigy. Kinda weird considering u're just 13 and people all over keep pointing their fingers at you when u're at a restaurant and whispering dark shady secrets. Or people that stop by and ask for your autograph. Thats not a normal childhood i say, having to go to school in the day, music school after that, and practice 3 hours after that, besides balancing normal school work. That sucks if u ask me, but it really is admirable.

So whos Gunther? Some swede that rocked the charts with his hit single, The Ding Dong Song (you touch my tra la la) And its really funny, cos you figure that when u've got enough shots down, you will wanna dance to the beat of the song cos it's not bad (Except that the thought of him will just make u wanna stop dancing cos its so funny.) And the sleaze in it helps too. And its one of those songs that stick in your head, so... I was singing it every now and then. Like spontaneously say "Ooooh... You touch my tra la la... Mmmmm My ding ding dong..." And i came up with actions for that. (when i figure out how to post video clips i'll put it online) And then Grace suggested that that was the kind of thing that Hodge would like.. Like make that next year's mass dance or something like that. So I began to think about refining the actions and stuff. Of course, i couldnt get past the first 10 seconds without breaking out in laughter. So. I must admit i was inspired by Napoleon Dynamite (see the trailer), and thought hey if he could dance so could i. Haha its like Goldmember too... That kinda freaky dicky dutch bastard can dance... So, whatever. Its stuck for now because i've got work to do.

Oh by the way Napoleon dynamite is considered by many to be an American gem of a movie, but i didn't think it was good la. Probably American culture that punishes losers and laughs at them. If u like watching losers do their thing, watch the movie. If you don't think the first 20 minutes is worth your time, don't bother to finish the movie.
